Cannabis Justice:
Fighting for Equity and Reform
We are committed to fighting against the disproportionate impact of convictions and incarcerations for cannabis use on communities of color.
Empowering Communities through Cannabis Justice
The war on drugs has had a disproportionate impact on communities of color, with African Americans being particularly affected. Cannabis justice means advocating for those who have been directly impacted by cannabis convictions and their consequences, including loss of employment, housing, and education opportunities. We believe in fighting for the rights of those who have been unjustly incarcerated and seeking clemency and compassionate release for those who are still serving sentences.
Additionally, we recognize the need for reform of the justice system to prevent these injustices from continuing in the future. We support organizations that are working towards creating more equitable policies and laws that will benefit all members of society. Cannabis Justice looks like...
- Intentional Fireside Chats
- Educational sessions, videos & publications
- Donations of time and energy to organizations
